My name’s Bunmi, and I’m the founder of Foods You Can, a health foods and supplement provider, with a focus on helping people feel good and optimising their health.

I temporarily lost my eyesight after being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition called Neuro-Myelitis Optica (NMO) when I was just 24. NMO affects both the optic nerve and the spinal cord, which results in muscle weakness and nerve pain, as well as impaired eyesight.

After being in and out of hospital, looking for treatments everywhere I could, I started to notice links between the food I was eating, my mindset and how I felt. Health, food and fitness became my main priority in life. I believe that if we nourish our body and mind with the right food and exercise, both can thrive and bring us much more happiness.
